WHY B.O.S. LOCK WAS BUILT

When Keith Bombaugh became an uncle, his brother made a simple request: make sure the firearms in Keith’s home were secured when his brother’s child came to visit. Keith understood the concern. He also knew that a firearm kept for protection still had to be ready when needed.

Every option he found asked him to give up one for the other. Keith didn’t believe responsible ownership should require that compromise. That is why he built B.O.S. Lock.

Fusion is the latest expression of that belief: designed to help prevent unauthorized access while staying ready for the people trusted to use it.

We understand that security is only one part of how you set up a firearm for home defense. A solution can help prevent unauthorized access and still fall short if it makes the firearm less useful when you need it.

Owners of earlier B.O.S. Lock models told us they valued the added security, but they didn’t want to give up the light and laser they relied on. They also didn’t want an app, an account, or a wireless connection between their firearm and the outside world.

We understood because we faced the same tradeoffs.

So we fused the security of previous B.O.S. Lock designs with a capable light and green laser built to be genuinely useful—not simply added to check a box. It stays completely offline while keeping the firearm ready for the people you trust.

That is why we called it Fusion.
