To qualify:

  • Return must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
  • Product must be in like-new condition.
  • Include all original packaging, accessories, and included components.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a warranty-covered defect or our error.
  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.

We proudly work with firearm retailers across the country.

If you purchased your B.O.S. Lock product from one of our authorized retail partners, returns and exchanges are handled according to that retailer’s return policy. Please contact the retailer directly for assistance with returns or refunds.

The good news? Your B.O.S. Lock warranty travels with the product. As long as your product was purchased from an authorized retailer and meets the applicable warranty requirements, we’re here to support you with warranty service whenever you need it.

Need Warranty Service?

If you think your product has a manufacturing defect, we’ll work with you to make it right.

Simply contact our Customer Support team before shipping your product. We’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with instructions for sending your product to our service team.

Once received, we’ll inspect and test the product. If the issue is covered under warranty, we’ll repair or replace the product at our discretion.

To help us get started, please have:

  • Proof of purchase (or registered product information)
  • Product serial number (if applicable)
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Photos or videos if requested

Shipping

Customers are responsible for shipping products to B.O.S. Lock.

If we determine the issue is covered under warranty, we’ll cover the cost of standard shipping back to you.

If the issue isn’t covered, we’ll contact you first with available repair or replacement options before performing any service.

We Believe in Repairing Products, Not Replacing Them

If your product is outside the warranty period or has experienced accidental damage, we offer factory service designed to keep your B.O.S. Lock performing for years to come.

Cost+ Replacement Program

Sometimes a product simply can’t be repaired.

Eligible Lifetime Status members may purchase a replacement product at our actual manufacturing cost plus handling—never retail markup—subject to eligibility verification and program limits.

Self-Defense Replacement Program

Your safety is why we build these products.

If your firearm and attached B.O.S. Lock product are permanently retained as evidence following a legally justified act of self-defense, we’ll replace your B.O.S. Lock product at no cost, subject to eligibility requirements and supporting documentation.

It’s one small way we can stand behind those who lawfully protect themselves and their families.

What’s Not Covered?

Our warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship.

It does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Abuse or misuse
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Improper maintenance
  • Normal cosmetic wear
  • Battery leakage
  • Loss or theft (except as covered by our Self-Defense Replacement Program)
  • Criminal misuse or use while under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Installing aftermarket accessories does not automatically void your warranty unless the modification caused the issue being claimed.
